Templastrum Bact 3,8*3,8cm (Kaigert) is a dressing product made by Kaigert. It is specifically designed for the treatment of very deep and extensive wounds or burns. It consists of several layers of materials including binder, silicone-based film, foam layer, and a low adhesive backing which provides good adhesion to the wound bed. The binder in the product is used to form a film which helps to create a watertight seal, thereby preventing further damage from moisture. The silicone-based film layer provides breathability and helps to keep the wound moist. The foam layer provides extra cushioning and protection. Finally, the low-adhesive backing helps keep the dressing in place without causing skin irritation.
