Iisopiürt is a variant of the IsoPort system, which uses interlocking panels to create a sealed construction that can be used in a variety of locations. This includes areas where regular framed construction techniques cannot be used, such as sloped roofs, load-bearing walls, difficult access points, and curved walls. The IsoPort design consists of two sheets of metallic facing material, with an insulated core material in between them. This creates a superior strength panel, which is much stronger than traditional construction methods.When the two side plates are joined together, the insulation core forms a firewall providing fire safety and thermal protection, and the sides of the panels lock together creating a weathertight system. The IsoPort panels are connected with a tongue and groove (or locking cam) system, allowing for easy assembly and disassembly, with no need for additional tools or screws.Once assembled, these panels can provide excellent sound insulation, and greatly reduce water migration. The panels also have a calculated R-value, which is an indication of the ability to resist heat flow. A higher R-value means the panel has better insulation capabilities, meaning heat and cool air stay on the respective side of the panel longer than they would with a lower R-value panel.The Iisopiürt system is designed with flexibility in mind; the walls can easily be put away, moved or reconfigured, plus the panels are pre-manufactured with all the necessary holes and sizes for electrical wiring, piping and other services. This makes the Iisopiürt system more versatile than traditional framed construction methods, and allows for quick and easy installation and reuse.
